Monica Garcia is a marketing strategist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, and brand building across Mexico and the UAE. She currently serves as Marketing Officer at Cemex UAE, where she leads strategic marketing initiatives, corporate events, and brand positioning in a multicultural environment.
In parallel, Monica is a Business partner and Development lead at Vivir en Dubai, a leading digital platform for the Spanish-speaking community in the UAE, where she has driven community growth, strategic partnerships with embassies and business councils, and large-scale branded events. Her work combines digital marketing, content strategy, storytelling, and relationship-building to create meaningful engagement and long-term value.
Earlier in her career, Monica co-founded and scaled a multi-location retail business in Mexico, overseeing operations, franchising, and strategic partnerships for more than 15 years. She also brings an academic background as a former Fashion Professor, where she taught public relations, visual merchandising, and marketing-related courses.
